Information on the Artist

The Plain White T's first formed as a band in 1997 in Lombard, San Francisco. Originally they started with only three members, with Tom Higgenson as the lead singer and guitarist, Ken Fletcher on Bass guitar and Dave Tirio on Drums. After finding some popularity a fourth member was recruited, Steve Mast, to play lead guitar and sing backing vocals. During this time they continued to gain popularity, enough to fund themselves enough to afford a designated van for the band which Higgenson crashed later on.
In 2002 the band underwent changes in its members, as Steve Fletcher and Steve Mast left the band and were replaced by Tim Lopez and Mike Retondo. 2002 was also the year that the bands first album, 'Come on Over' released, starting their career to becoming a well known band. In 2003 Dave Tirio switched from drums to rhythmic guitar and De'Mar Hamilton, the fifth member of the band, took over at drums.
After this, 'Plain White T's' began to gain momentum, releasing multiple albums such as 'All That We Needed' in 2005. In this album was the first appearance of their most well known song, 'Hey There Delilah'. his song became massively popular, With most Radio stations playing it, the Plain White 's became known in most households, despite their history linking them to play smaller gigs and concerts in their home town.
 Since then, the Plain White T's have been creating music in the band even to today in 2015, showing their popularity is still recognized today. The band has even made some appearances on Television, such as appearing on 'iCarly' and one of their songs being used as the theme tune for ABC's 'Greek'.
